Kaja Kovič is CEO of Zavod AI-D, an independent organization that brings together experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, and visionaries with a common goal: to promote responsible, inclusive, progressive, and sustainable development of artificial intelligence in Slovenia and the wider region. Prior to that, she worked for many years at the intersection of journalism, economics, marketing, and technology, but in recent years she has also been intensively involved in artificial intelligence. Kovič is the program director of DIGGIT, Slovenia's first "smart" conference, which remains an important project for her in the future.
