Marjan Novak is a partner, publisher, and former editor of Marketing Magazin, with more than two decades of experience in media and communications. He began his career at the age of 17 as a radio presenter on a local station and went on to work in various fields, from radio and television to magazines and press agencies, including the BBC in London.
Since 2008, he has been the publisher and editor of Marketing Magazin. He is also the author of Advertising in Slovenia 1990–2020 and recipient of the PRO PR Infigo Award (2019) for his contribution to the development of the communications profession.
In addition, he is the co-founder of many different events such as Diggit, PR Day, and Influencer Day. He was the first director of IAB Slovenia, and is one of the founders of the AI-D Institute for the Development of Artificial Intelligence, which explores the combination of artificial intelligence and creative industries.
