Jure Bračko is a marketing strategist and communicator with a strong understanding of the financial and media sector, who has probably the most experience in Slovenia with merging and repositioning major corporate brands. He is currently in charge of marketing, communications and customer experience management at OTP Bank, which was created after the legal merger of Nova KBM and SKB Bank. Jure led the project of renaming the bank and redesigning the corporate graphic identity, which continues into the positioning of the new OTP bank brand in Slovenia. The bank has grown organically and inorganically over the last eight years, PBS, Raiffeisen Slovenia and Abanka were also merged as part of the consolidation of the banking market, while at the same time the bank has made a quantum leap in technology, becoming the best digital bank in Slovenia. In 2021, for the first time, it was also the strongest banking brand in Slovenia according to the All Finance study. Under his leadership in marketing and communications, the bank also created and launched several product brands, introduced additional channels of communication to customers or upgraded them in terms of content. Jure is a former award-winning journalist and editor of 24ur, the most watched news programme in Slovenia, in addition to his degree in journalism, he completed an MBA at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana.
