Everything you need to know before SEMPL begins
We can hardly wait to meet you in Portorož this Thursday! To make your experience as pleasant and carefree as possible, here are some key information that will come in handy during the event.
1. Registration and accreditation
The registration desk at the Grand Hotel Bernardin will open on Thursday at 8:30. With your QR code, which you will receive today, you will pick up your accreditation quickly and easily. We recommend you arrive on time and avoid the crowds as the programme starts at 9:30.
2. Start of the programme
At 9:30, the always charming presenter Ida Prester will take the SEMPL's main stage, the Navigator Stage, to prove that your patience has paid off. Just 15 minutes later, at 9:45, we will start with a programme on the Depths Stage, moderated by 24ur.com journalist Kaya Kamenarič.
3. Lunch
Lunchtime is scheduled for 12:30-14:00 on Thursday and 12:35-13:30 on Friday. If you haven't booked your lunch yet, you can still buy it; read more here.
4. Happy Hour with Radio Aktual
At the end of the first conference day, at 17:20, we invite you to a happy hour with Radio Aktual, featuring DJ Rudi Sieger and co-host Tamara Goričanec.
5. The Sempler Awards Ceremony and Planet Party
Don't miss the prestigious Sempler Awards Ceremony on Thursday evening at 20:30. After the award ceremony, there will be a Planet TV party, a great opportunity to network and have fun.
6. Weather
We can expect pleasant autumn weather and the sun will also come out, so you don't need to go overboard with your winter clothes just yet. But you'll definitely want to wear something warmer for networking on the hotel terrace.
7. Running and yoga – and conquering the smartphone
If you want to stretch a little before the Friday’s programme, we invite you to sign up for a morning jog or yoga class. Registration is still open and you can find more information here. And don't forget that you still have a chance to win a Telemach 5G Pro 1 smartphone - for more information on how to enter, visit this link.
We look forward to meeting you in Portorož and sharing ideas that will shape the future of media!
