After graduating in marketing and finance from the University of Economics in Vienna in 1995, Dejan started his business career at the McDonald's company in Slovenia as a restaurant manager, after which he progressed to the position of CEO of the McDonald's restaurant chain for Slovenia and Croatia.

In 2004, he joined A1 Slovenija (then Si.mobil) as head of marketing and sales. Very quickly he became a member of the management board for marketing and sales, and in 2007 he became the president of the management board of this company.

In 2014, he was appointed as the new CEO of A1 Serbia (then Vip mobile), and since 2015 he has taken over the position of CEO/CEO/CMO of the new organizational unit, which is made up of the companies A1 Serbia and A1 Slovenia within the A1 Group.

In June 2024, Dejan becomes the CEO of A1 Slovenia A1 Croatia.

In his rich career, Dejan has won numerous prestigious awards, including manager of the year in Slovenia, manager of the year in Serbia, award for the greatest economic achievements in the economy of Slovenia, award for excellence, leadership and socially responsible business in Serbia.
