About Lauren

Lauren knows people. Really knows people. Why they do things, why they don’t, what they want to do or had better not do. Lauren is a Design Psychologist. From studying Psychology, she soon found a passion for taking the deep people understanding of academia to the problem solving rigour of design. In 2014 she started Behaviour Studio. Behaviour Studio works at the intersection of behavioural science and design thinking. They work with brands who want to create more effective products, teams working to enhance people first services and tackle behaviour challenges. Look back to drive forward

To innovate we look forward. To future technology, markets and challenges of our emerging world. With innovation brings accelerated change. Futurists predict we will experience 20,000 years of progress in the course of the 21st century. How do we continue to design, ideate and innovate for a world unknown? We need to look back to drive forward. Back to what makes us, us. To what makes us do what we do and why. We need to look to our brains. Unchanged for thousands of years, our brains are a reassuring constant in a fast-paced world. They are governed by a set of principles that unite us all. Principles that we can use to ideate behaviour-first in an approach called Behavioural Design. In this talk I will demonstrate how to bring together behavioural principles to help you ideate forward.
